Prototyping and Engineering

The prototyping phase is the decisive step between an idea and a truly manufacturable product. In our contract manufacturing work for decorative lamps, we support brands, designers and design studios in the technical development of the product, transforming concepts, 2D/3D drawings or simple sketches into functional and industrialisable prototypes. Prototyping is not an aesthetic verification, but a structured technical process that allows you to:

  • test constructive feasibility
  • verify stability and resistance of components
  • apply aesthetic and resistant welds
  • optimise materials and thicknesses
  • evaluate assembly and maintenance
  • prepare the product for certification

From concept to contract manufacturing

In the contract lighting sector, one of the most common risks is developing products that work at a design level but prove complex or inefficient during production. For this reason, we intervene from the very first development stages, analysing:

  • compatibility of metal materials
  • joining and fixing solutions
  • integration of electrical components
  • cable management
  • accessibility for maintenance
  • replicability in small batch production

The prototype thus becomes the technical foundation on which to build a stable and controlled contract manufacturing process.

Prototyping for small batches and limited series

We are structured to develop and produce small runs of decorative lighting, without imposing high minimum volumes. This makes possible:

  • market testing
  • limited collections
  • custom contract projects
  • pilot productions for new brands

Our experience in custom lighting manufacturing allows us to manage complex prototypes even in small-batch production contexts, maintaining high quality standards.
